Meet the team

At Empower Osteopathy our registered osteopaths provide evidence-based, patient-centred care to support people of all ages. Located in Tugun on the Gold Coast, we commonly see patients for women’s health, pregnancy osteopathy, postpartum recovery, pelvic health, paediatrics, and musculoskeletal pain.

We take the time to understand each patient’s individual circumstances and work collaboratively to develop care plans appropriate to their needs and goals.

“My treatments are unique and patient centered, aiming to reach the individual’s optimal function”.

Page is a friendly, results-driven osteopath who is passionate about helping patients move better, feel stronger, and return to doing what they love. She takes a holistic and hands-on approach to care, tailoring each treatment to the individual and their specific goals.

Education. Page holds a Master's of Osteopathy and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences (Osteopathic Studies) from Southern Cross University. She has completed advanced training in women’s health, focusing on pregnancy care, pelvic health, birth-related injuries, and postpartum recovery. As well as additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of headaches, and myofascial dry needling and cupping. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to improve your overall well-being, Page provides expert guidance and hands-on treatment to support your health journey.

Approach. Page enjoys working with patients of all ages, and utilises various treatment techniques for musculoskeletal pain, including soft tissue, manipulation, stretching and strengthening, dry needling, cupping, visceral manipulation and more. Page enjoys seeing patients with pregnancy-related pain, abdominal pain, digestive issues and other conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, and jaw pain.

Fun. When Page is not in the clinic, you will find her surfing, swimming in the ocean or spending time with friends and family.

DR EMMA POWER - OSTEOPATH

Osteopath Emma Power sitting outside her practice with a big welcoming smile.

“My favourite part about osteopathy is seeing meaningful, lasting results in my patients.”

As a mum of two, Emma has a genuine understanding of the physical and emotional demands of pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. This lived experience, combined with her clinical training, has led her to develop a strong focus on pregnancy, postpartum care, and pelvic health.

Education. Emma completed a Master of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Majoring in Human Structure and Function, and Osteopathic Studies). Other qualifications include a Diploma of Sport (Developmental) and Level 1 Sports Trainer. She has also attended further education in pelvic health, paediatrics, myofascial dry needling, cupping, and evidenced-based management of musculoskeletal injuries.

Approach. Emma takes a direct approach to find the root cause of your complaints. Emma has done additional training to perform pelvic health examinations, both internal (pelvic floor) and external. Emma particularly enjoys helping pregnant women through the stages of pregnancy and post-partum, including a 6-week wellness consultation for the baby.

Fun. Before having children, Emma taught osteopathy at Southern Cross University and hopes to return to teaching in the future as her kids get older. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her spending time with her family and friends, surfing, or out walking her dog, Leroy.

MR LEROY BROWN - DOORMAN

“My favourite part of your session is my belly rubs”.

Leroy is a friendly, bubbly, lazy, red golden retriever.

Education. Leroy has a poor attention span, therefore his education is limited to commands such as sit, wait and good boy.

Approach. Leroy is not shy and has a direct approach to his goal of getting pats and belly rubs.

Fun. When Leroy is not greeting you at the door, he is most likely sunbaking in the backyard. Leroy also enjoys swimming at the beach, going to the dog park and meeting new faces whether that be dogs or people.
